Kiss and Make-up is the tenth episode of the first season which was broadcast on January 28, 2001.
Synopsis[]
After Lois tells Ginger she can't wear make-up for her school picture, she, Dodie, and Macie create "fake-up". Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey ride with the garbage man, Dwayne, to Protected Pines, the Gripling's neighborhood, where they find Blake's baby blanket.

School Picture Day has been rescheduled to an earlier date in Lucky Junior High and everyone, except for Courtney are dismayed to find out about that. Right after school, Ginger and her friends head over to Ginger's house and they take a look of their past school pictures and decide that they should wear make-up for their upcoming school picture day but in a phone call between Lois and Ginger, Lois says that Ginger cannot wear make up and it so happens that Lois also asks Ginger if she could buy some anti-fungal cream for her. While Ginger and her friends look for anti-fungal cream at the pharmacy, they bump into Courtney and Miranda and when Courtney asks them if they are there to buy make-up.
Ginger lies about it by telling them that they're shopping for make-up, when they go back to looking for the anti-fungal cream, they decide to buy some make up only to find out that the prices are a rip-off and just as they leave the aisle. The sales boy tells them where to find the anti-fungal cream. When Ginger, Dodie and Macie return from the pharmacy, Dodie and Macie persuade Ginger into using her mother's make up, at first, Ginger doesn't like the idea, but since she thinks she has the obligation to put the anti-fungal cream in her mother's bathroom. They go into the bathroom and after they put away the anti-fungal cream, they decide to try on Lois' make-up and just as Lois arrives.
They rush in placing the things in the bathroom the way they were before they started to use the make-up and they run up to Ginger's room and pretend to read some magazines only for them to find out that their plan has backfired the moment Ginger's mom catches them wearing make-up (which she finds out after noticing the missing lipstick cap in her make-up) and then she had them remove their make-up. The next day, they read a magazine and look for ways to look good. Dodie comes up with a way for Ginger to wear makeup without disobey her mom by creating “Fake-Up” which is fake makeup that they made out of crayons. On the day of picture day, Ginger, Dodie and Macie wear their “Make-up” which makes them look like clowns. On the night after parents night at school, Miss. Zorski gives Lois Ginger’s school picture and she is furious because Ginger went behind her back and wore makeup for picture day. Lois confiscated Ginger’s “Fake-Up” and send Ginger to her bedroom. Ginger talks to Dodie and Macie and they don’t like their pictures and wait for retake day to do retake pictures without the “Make-up”.
