Someone once told me "the grass is much greener on the other side".
Well, I pay a visit, well it's possible I missed it
It's seemed different yet exactly the same (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
'Till further notice ('till further notice)
I'm in between (I'm in between)
Fom where I'm standing (from where i'm standing)
My grass is green
Someone once told me the grass is much greener on the other side.
The Grass Is Always Greener
It means that some people out there are not happy or satisfied for what they have after being born into. Wishing for the life that some "lucky" people have: like being rich, popularity, a bigger house, expensive stuff, trips around the world, being a famous celebrity or things you wish you could have like, money, better clothes, a "handsome" boyfriend, "beautiful" girlfriend or even having children of your own (mostly during your high school years in order to show to your classmates that you are either now an adult or you are more attractive).
Then one day when you finally go over the fence to see and feel the experience. You just notice it's not at all what you think it will be and you realized what you have right now is better. If you wait patiently, work hard, still have fun once in a while, enjoy life, enjoy your childhood, and enjoy being yourself. Than one day you, your family, and your true friends will come to riches in the future but you will have it in a much better way.
- This song was sung by Melissa Disney but she only sang in the first episode of the series.
- The Song's title is based on the well-known theory, "The grass is always greener on the other side."
