Jed is the swimming counselor at Camp Caprice.
History[]
In part 1 of Season of Caprice, Margie introduces him to the girls. Macie is shown to have an admiration for him. At the end of part 1, he tells an old camp story to the girls around a bonfire. The story he was telling was about a girl who went to Camp Caprice who disappeared while swimming in the daytime. Macie asks him if she drowned. Jed responded by saying no because the people drained the lake and she was never found. He claims that once or twice on taco night in the mess hall he saw her ghost standing in line for food. When Macie starts to worry after hearing the story, Jed consoles her by saying he'll be there if anything goes wrong.
In part 2, Jed is at the swimming dock with the girls. He congratulates the cherokee cabin girls for setting a Camp Caprice record. He then goes up to the Navajo girls and asks who the first swimmer will be. Dodie offered to go last because Margie asked her to keep her whistle on at all times to help keep the order. Macie says she has sore on her ankle from yesterday's nature walk. Jed offered her some antibiotic ointment but Macie brings up her battle with swimmer's ear. He then asks if Courtney wants to go but she says he thinks they both know the answer to that. Ginger offers to go swim. He says to her it's a long swim so she doesn't have to rush. He tells her if she gets tired to raise her hand and her cabin mates will fish her out. Lastly, he says it helps if she pictures something she likes waiting at the other end. He appears later when Matilda the Camp Caprice cow is giving birth. He asks Sasha what the baby bull's name is. Sasha responds with a snark in his voice saying it's Ian.
In part 3, he and Margie patrol the area at night while Ginger and Melanie were talking to each other. They both escape before Jed and Margie sees them. He appears later at the end of part 3 when Margie was announcing the 14 rules that were broken by the Navajo girls. He stands up and says he couldn't penalize Macie for helping someone in trouble in the lake. Jed cheers on the girls after Courtney said they all have camp spirit. As Ginger was singing Copper Colored Ponies, Macie moved closer to Jed.

He wears a light tan pocket shirt with a whistle around his neck. He also wears tan cargo shorts with brown shoes. He wears a grey visor.
Personality []
Jed is a good swimming coach. He tells the girls what to do and gives them good instructions during camp activities. He is a nice guy and he loves being a counselor.
