Miranda
Miranda Killgallen is Courtney Gripling's best friend, and her sheer meanness will make sure that no one else takes that position. Jealous of any attention that Courtney is paying to anyone else, Miranda is definitely not a big fan of Ginger Foutley. In fact, she tries her best to humiliate Ginger any chance she gets, laughing with her evil cackle at every one of Ginger's failures. Still, part of Miranda's icy cruelty can be traced back to her strict upbringing from her overbearing father, and she has been known to do something nice on occasion, although she would go to great lengths to hide that fact. Courtney's right-hand woman, Miranda Killgallen (voiced by Cree Summer), is often Ginger's main opponent on the show.Apart from being totally different personalities, Miranda's dislike for Ginger mainly stems from her fear that 'Foutley' may replace her as Courtney's best friend. On top of that, both Miranda and Ginger have (or at least Ginger used to until Ginger realizes Ian used her for an A in chemistry in "the A ticket) a romantic interest in Ian Richton. Miranda has thwarted Ginger by all means possible, including manipulation (Dare I, Darren), blackmail (Cry Wolf), false accusations (I Spy A Witch, Ginger The Juvey), backstabbing (Wicked Game) and bribery (Far From Home). At times, however, even 'tough girl' Miranda is shown to have her weak sides. On more than one occasion it's illustrated that she has a difficult relationship with her strict parents and that she has very few actual friends. In Trouble In Gal-Pal Land, she's left friendless after she and Courtney have a temporary falling out, Macie states that it's because no body likes her. Apart from her viciousness, Miranda's trademark are her sniping, sarcastic comments.
Relationships
Courtney- Miranda and Courtney are best friends the two are almost always seen together, Miranda cares a lot about Courtney despite seeming heartless sometimes. She cried when she knew Courtney wasn't enjoying her stay at Camp Caprice, showing that she does truly care about Courtney. She is usually jealous of Ginger trying to take Courtney away and will go to extreme lengths to get Ginger and Courtney to stop being friends such as using blackmail in the episode "Cry Wolf" when she finds out about Ginger's "frizzy lizzies" (her unshaved legs) she blackmails Ginger into not hanging out or even talking to Courtney or she will tell everyone about Ginger's unshaved legs. And in the episode "Far From Home" she lies (with the help of Mipsy), to get Ginger sent away from Lucky Junior High, to go take an art course that Ginger applied for.
Mipsy- Miranda isn't seen with her as often as she is seen with Courtney, though they do appear to be good friends, mainly because they share the same hatred for Ginger and often work together to sabotage Ginger's life and friendship with Courtney.
Ginger- Miranda hates Ginger and often goes out of her way to be mean to Ginger, from commenting on her clothes to getting her arrested.
Trivia
- At the end of the series, Miranda and Courtney are not seen during Ginger's bookreading, but a woman who appears identical to Miranda is seen walking past the library as Ginger begins reading.
- Miranda's ethnicity is, half African American and half Egyptian American
