The Gripling mansion is located in Sheltered Shrubs, Connecticut. Courtney, Blake and Claire Gripling reside in the mansion with the assistance of their butler Winston along with the other maids. The community in which the mansion is located is in Protected Pines. In The Wedding Frame, the Griplings moved out and now reside at the Foutley's former house.

The mansion has a white marble color on the outside with two sets of windows on the top and bottom sides. There are two windows in the center on the top sides. There is a balcony on top with four windows. The front door has four column poles with three steps. Blake's treehouse is on the left side of the mansion. A greenhouse is located behind the treehouse. There is also a pool in the backyard.

Blake's room has a red arm chair with green plaid wallpaper. His mirror has a life preserver around it. He has two seashells and a starfish in a frame on his wall. His table has two hair gel bottles on it with a picture of Carl.

The family room (seen in TGIF) has a fireplace with four chair beds. There is also a tall clock and a painting above the fireplace. There is a pink rug in the center.

- The mansion had an "unexpected guest" guestroom addition built, as seen in TGIF.
- The series takes place in 2000-2002, and Courtney implies that she has lived there her entire life. Courtney is shown to be 12 years old at the start of the series, so this would put the mansion's original date of construction (prior to any additions) sometime prior to 1988.
- The mansion is shown to have a particularly robust electrical system in Heat Lightning, when Carl and Hoodsey plug their portable air-conditioner into an electrical outlet in Blake's clubhouse.
- The mansion has a full staff of employees, including the family's chauffeur and butler, Winston; The Griplings also have a full assortment of cooks and maids, among others. Winston is implied to live with the Griplings and is on call 24 hours a day, but the other staff members may come in on an as-needed basis.
- Even though the mansion is in Protected Pines, a gated community with a full-time security guard, Carl and Hoodsey are seemingly able to sneak into the neighborhood and walk on to the Gripling property with relative ease whenever they want for purposes of pranks and schemes.
- Again, even though the neighborhood is a private guard-gated community, Officer Killgallen drives through the neighborhood and past the Gripling estate when transporting Ginger and her friends to the police station in Ginger the Juvey.
- The house is shown to NOT have a garage, yet there are times when the whole family is home and no cars are scene in the driveway; The house more than likely does have a garage, and this is likely an oversight on the part of the animators.
